On June 4th, 2025, the One Final Drive For HealthCare: Celebrity Golf Classic was held at the Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre, put on by the Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation, and sponsored in part by Boundary Ford Gives.

A variety of celebrity players joined in the fun, some notable faces on the green included Mike Smith, Jordin Tootoo, Scott Hartnell, Wade Redden, Jon Mirasty, Alex Penner, Harlan Layne Kytwayhat, and Max Boufard.

“Any chance you get to give back to a local community is a great one. Great people, great cause,” said retired NHLer Mike Smith. “It’s easy to say yes when raising money for a good cause is the goal, and it’s easy to say yes to guys that mean so much to this community.

“It’s also about trying to do your part to help the next generation and people in need. It’s my first time in Lloyd and I’m looking forward to a good day.”
